Education for All Program
The Education for All Program is an initiative dedicated to promoting equal access to quality education for vulnerable and disadvantaged children within underserved communities. The program seeks to remove barriers that prevent children from attending and completing school by providing educational support, mentorship, and community-based interventions that encourage learning and child development.
The program focuses on supporting children who are affected by poverty, orphanhood, neglect, limited access to school requirements, and other social challenges that hinder educational progress. Through partnerships with families, schools, community leaders, and local structures, the initiative works to ensure that every child has an opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
The Education for All Program supports access to education through school fees assistance, scholastic materials, uniforms, mentorship, psychosocial support, and community sensitization on the importance of education. The program also promotes child protection, retention in school, and the empowerment of families to support children’s educational journeys.
Implementation and community coordination are supported through the LCU community structure, including local leadership and Federation Committees, who help identify vulnerable children, monitor progress, encourage parental involvement, and strengthen accountability within the communities served.
